ALU-GARD security products utilise a strong (1.6mm thickness) high quality aluminium sheet. First, this is carefully perforated in an extruded aluminium frame. Next, it is then powder coated to suit your home. You should note that ALU-GARD mesh is powder coated in black and is non-corrosive. As such, it is the ideal product for coastal regions.
With ALU-GARD, we use our PVC retention system to retain the sheet in the door frame. Of course, this is unlike many other competitors who use the riveted system. The riveted system puts stress points on the door or screen, then a plastic beading on top to cover the rivets. In contrast, our resulting door turns out much stronger and more attractive.
All ALU-GARD security doors and screens are custom built, and made to suit your exact requirements.
All door frames are powder coated to match the colour of your existing door frames and window frames. Alternatively, they can be powder coated to match any other colour you require. If you own a cat or dog, you may also choose to add a pet door to your security door. As a result, your pet will be able to enjoy easy indoor and outdoor access.
